Since I got my first Kodak camera as a nine years old kid in the 60's I
was hooked to photography. Some years later I bought a more sophisticated
SLR camera that allowed me to be more creative while exploring all the wonders
of photography.
My hobby eventually led me to my first job as a laboratory worker for a
portrait studio and soon after as an assistant in a large advertising photo
studio. Since I assisted several photographers in Finland and Denmark during
that four year period I got a good insight in the techniques and views of
shooting various subjects.
Eventually I got my opportunity to start as an advertising photographer
in 1985. Since that advertising, fashion/beauty and interior photography
has been a good part of my work.
I also worked for four years as a scuba instructor and underwater photography
teacher in Belize, St Lucia, Aruba and Bonaire. In August 1997 I returned
back to Finland to continue advertising photography My wide experience and
knowledge in both film / digital techniques allows me to be truly creative
and reliable with time efficiency which is of utmost importance to clients.
